SVdP Thrift Stores

The SVdP stores in Daly City, South San Francisco, San Mateo and Redwood City provide employment and job training to the most marginalized. Store vouchers are given through SVdP’s Peninsula Family Resource Center’s home visits and at SVdP’s Homeless Help Centers to help people shop at our stores for clothes, beds and basic furnishings at no charge.
Convenient SVdP store donation drop-off sites or at home pick-ups, offer an easy way to re-cycle and re-use your donated clothes, furniture, TV’s and computers.

Donations can be dropped off at any of SVdP's four San Mateo County stores up to one hour before closing.

WHAT WE NEED
Clothes
Men’s, women’s and children’s clothing in good condition. Warm jackets, coats, winter outwear. Shoes, especially athletic and good walking shoes.

Household items
Furniture, sheets, blankets, towels, dishes, utensils, small electrical items such as crock pots and electric frying pans. Can openers are also needed to distribute with canned goods.

Refrigerators must be self-defrosting and plugged in for at least 24 hours prior to the arrival of our truck.

Recycling Program - We Now Recycle Electronics, Working or Not!
Computers – monitors, keyboards, printers, towers, T.V.s , stereos & speakers, radios, microwave ovens, cell phones.
