EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE

“I really like my job as a cleaning person but I do not make enough to make ends meet. Rent for my trailer is taking all I have but St. Vincent de Paul helps me make the difference so we can eat."

Central to the ministry of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul is our commitment to prevent homelessness. Our volunteers visit families throughout San Mateo County to determine what immediate assistance will make it possible for you to remain in your home. Whether the need is to fill the cupboard with emergency food or money to pay the rent, we respond swiftly and sensitively to each family’s request for assistance.
